Tattoos
About tattoos
Tattoo infatuation is a painless process because the needle penetrates only between one and four millimetres from the first two layers of the skin (dermis and epidermis); these layers don't have well-developed nerve centres and therefore the sensation you feel is like a pinch. This process does not imply bleeding, only lymph production because even these two layers of skin have a minimum vascularization.

General recommendations
If you are frightened by the idea of being stung we recommend you to try the sensation first without ink on the place in which you wish to have the tattoo and to take a friend with you to encourage you. We kindly ask you to have the artist explain and show you some of his works before starting the process. You should also check whether he is aware of certain artistic notions and be sure all the objects are sterile.
We do not advise you to go to “at-home artist“ who carry out this particular process by using improvised machines and non sterile tools – you will only get yourself a scar and you will put your health in danger which should be the most important for you.
In our Beauty Center we use non-allergenic pigments, disposable needles and lids and the tools (tips, grips) are surgically sterilized. We execute any tattoo design and the prices differ according to the difficulty of the design, size and colour. If you desire we can also administer you a local anaesthetic at your request.

How do we take care of a new tattoo?
-    In the first phase the tattoo will be covered by a foil which should be kept for at least 5 hours.
-    you remove the foil, clean the tattoo with a wet napkin and then you tampon it easily in order to dry it
-     Apply a new foil repeating the process once at least every 5 hours
-     After the last foil the tattoo has to be dabbed every day (14 days) with Bepanthen plus ointment every 3 hours.

During most of the healing process the tattoo will be covered with a fine scabbing which will be the same colour as the pigment used for the tattoo infatuation. The scabbing will be more obvious after 3-4 days. Due to the pigment's contact with the lymph the colour of the latter might be darker, however, the real colour is the one after the scabbing comes off.

During the entire healing process one has to avoid removing or picking the scab so that this can come off later on its own (between 4 and 7 days depending on the size of the tattoo). Tips and warnings:
•    Avoid bathing (bath tub, pool);
•    Avoid scratching or any contact of the tattooed area with any element that might damage the scab;
•    Avoid using any other product apart from Bepanthen plus (do not use moisturizing cream, oil, lotions, alcohol, etc.)
•    Avoid exposure to the sun (or artificial tanning).
•    Do not bandage the tattooed area (bandage, plaster, foil, napkins);

Under no circumstances follow empirical treatments or advice from unprofessionals - your own skin and health are at the risk. In case the details of the tattoo wash out, the colours fade away or empty spaces appear in the coloured areas, you would be the one to blame for not respecting the instructions.
